HRC sponsored panel discussion on Gay marriage with New Paltz Mayor Jason West, Erin Quinn, author of Pride & Politics: The Tale of a Big Story in a Small Town is the story of the same-sex marriages solemnized by New Paltz Mayor Jason West, and Jeffrey FlowersMcGowan, the author of Major Conflict: One Gay Man's Life in the Don't-Ask-Don't-Tell Military, is the first personal account of a gay man's silent struggle in the don't-ask-don't-tell military, and whose same-sex marriage was the first on the East Coast performed by Mayor Jason West with Those Were the Gays (Nancy Kissam, USA, 2004, 17 min) Spencer & Joan, two raging homosexuals, make a go at a straight marriage. NY Premiere Filmmaker Nancy Kissam will be attending. Conjugal Rights (Steve Damron, USA, 2004, 6 min) Marriages in California. Flowers from the Heartland (Peter Daulton, USA, 2004, 25 min) In support of the right to same-sex marriage, people from all over the country send flowers to random couples waiting in line to get married at San Francisco City Hall.
