Discussion at SUNY New Paltz:
“FAMILY VALUES
FOR NEW PALTZ AND THE NATION”
With
Authors ERIN QUINN, JASON WEST and JEFFREY McGOWAN
The three authors will discuss why gay marriage, Green politics,
and the “don’t-ask-don’t-tell” military
have all become targets for social and political discourse on “family
values” in America. By weaving the themes of their interconnected
stories and ideals, the three authors provide a comprehensive understanding
of the complex issues that are affecting the New Paltz community
and the nation at-large.

Multimedia to publish Erin Quinn's Pride
and Politics: The
Tale of a Big Story in a Small Town
Pride and Politics tells
a thoroughly engaging story of an unlikely hero, a
twenty-six year old mayor with uncompromising values,
who steps to the forefront of the divisive, national
battle over same-sex marriages. Erin Quinn brings an
insider's perspective, as well as wit and compassion,
to her depiction of grassroots politics, sudden fame
and our celebrity-driven media.
